Sun Ferry Electric Boat
This boat is based on the Sun Ferry hull, modernised into a solar-powered version. It is fitted with a rigid fibreglass roof incorporating a solar panel producing approximately 450 to 480 W, combined with a Victron charger and a 100 Ah LiFePO4 lithium battery. Propulsion is provided by a fixed 650 W outboard motor with a control unit. As an option, a Victron shore charger (230 V) can be added. The system allows for autonomous navigation when sunlight is sufficient, as every period without motor use helps recharge the batteries. Steering is controlled by a traditional tiller, while the motor remains fixed.
Available options: slide, ladder, launching trolley.

Description
This boat is based on the Sun Ferry hull, fully modernised and converted into a solar-powered version to provide silent, economical and environmentally friendly navigation. The configuration combines photovoltaic energy production, lithium storage and electric propulsion to enable autonomous operation in favourable sunlight conditions.
The boat is fitted with a rigid fibreglass roof incorporating a high-performance solar panel delivering between 450 and 480 W of power. This energy output directly supplies the electrical system and recharges the batteries during use or when the boat is stationary. A Victron charger ensures intelligent energy management and optimised charging.
Energy storage is provided by a 100 Ah LiFePO4 lithium battery, known for its long service life, safety and excellent energy efficiency. This technology allows for frequent charge cycles without significant loss of performance, making it ideal for solar-powered marine use.
Propulsion is provided by a fixed 650 W electric outboard motor, controlled via a dedicated throttle unit. The motor remains in a fixed position, while steering is handled by a traditional tiller, ensuring simple and reliable operation.
As an option, the boat can be equipped with a Victron shore charger operating on 230 V, allowing the batteries to be fully recharged whenever shore power is available.
