The WINDSURFER® LT board is the evolution of the original windsurf board invented by Hoyle Schweitzer and Jim Drake in 1967. The new board has the same concept as the original board, but with a few key advantages learned from the adoption of new lighter materials, increased width for more stability and a fully retractable fin.
The board is made with a polystyrene core and an epoxy deck.
The length is the same than the original Windsurfer (366 cm),
the width is 74 cm (8 cm more).
The weight is 15 kg, significantly lower than the classic polyethylene board.
